RECYCLE YOUR BOARDSHORTS FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Throughout December, January and February Volcom V.Co-Logical Series presented: "Recycle Your Old Boardshorts For a Good Cause". All you had to do is drop off any old boardshorts into the bin at any participating shop to be donated to the disaster zones of Sumatra and Samoa.

This Saturday, the Volcom team are flying to Indonesia to donate the boardshorts to kids in need. This will be fully documented so keep checking the Volcom OZ/NZ blog site for updates - volcomoznz.blogspot.com

Everyone who donated their boardshorts entered to win great prizes. The Grand Prize Winner to be V.Co-Logically outfitted is:
Liam Vandeneynden (entered at Trigger Brothers, Frankston, Vic).

A huge thanks goes out to all that donate their boardies.

VOLCOM STONE’S VQS CHAMPIONSHIPS VOLCOM TO PARADISE APRIL 16TH & APRIL 17TH 2010

The 2010 VQS Championships were held at Manly Beach over the past weekend with perfect 2 to 4

foot waves over the two days of competition. Surfers from all over Australia and New Zealand came

to compete in the hope of taking out the title.

The first day of competition was Friday the 16th of April and it was a day not to be forgotten by all

who came to compete. With the swell on the rise and a perfect skate park of peaks on offer all

divisions were chomping at the bit to get out there and rip into it.

VQS NZ QUALIFIER WAS HELD AT RUAPUKE WINNERS SCORED RETURN AIRFARE TO AUSTRALIA

The last event for the 2009/2010 VQS Crustaceous Tour was held at Raglan, New Zealand. Due to small conditions on the point we were forced to hold the event at the back beach, Ruapuke. The conditions were small on the day, reaching about 1-2 foot. Some say that is as small as it gets, but there were still some contestable waves all the same. Check full results here

BATTLECAT WINS BATTLE OF SUPREMACY!

Dave (Battlecat) Harris has won the Sydney Mountain Dew, Battle of Supremacy in last friday the 9th. he had a tough fight for the crown, but his alround skills and ability to skate the course as a whole are what got him over the line.
with a never give up attitude he came from behind and in the last 5 minutes of the final heat he stepped it up a knotch and took the crown.

well done to Battlecat for the win!!!

Other Volcom riders who need a mention are, Lewis Marnell who came in 4th, Scotty Standley who came in 6th and Kieran Reilly who placed in the top 10 as well.
