Second stop on Volcom Stone’s VQS Crustaceous Tour 2009/10 was always going to be an exciting one. The contest was a Qld event and situated at the famous beach break, D-bah. We awoke on Saturday morning, 12th December 2009 to a building 2-3ft fun park of peaks, and with the talent that had entered the draw we knew we were in for a very exciting day.

18-year-old Coco Ho claimed her first victory on the ASP Women’s World Tour today in Peniche, Portugal, taking out the Rip Curl Women’s Pro Search over former ASP Women’s World Champion (2005) Chelsea Hedges, 26.
Coco was ripping in the final, comboing Chelsea to snag the win.

On Saturday the 31st of October, Volcom in conjunction with Pittwater council re opened the Avalon skate park.
Plenty of kids came down and skated with our guys. In the mix we had Jake Duncombe,
Kieran Reilly and Shane Azar.
We were lucky enough to have the Mayor come down and officially open the skate park,
And after a few words he than handed the park over to Jake and the boys who started the day with

beach.
On the morning of the contest when the sun started to rise and the
fog lifted, we were greeted to a chest-high, skatepark of peaks.
We received some creative window entrants, but it was Evan from Morrissey’s in a small country timber town on New Zealand’s North Island (13,000 population) that took first prize with his use of foil, a stone TV, Volcom brand jeans and a hell of a lot of pins and came up with a very creative Volcom brand jeans window.

Chris Friend was on fire last week in the Dripping wet pro junior down Manly beach, the 9 foot tall Grommet now finds himself in 4th spot on the Australasian Pro Junior Series.
The first premier screening of Volcom's new surf film BS went down on Thursday 3rd of September at Volcom HQ in Sydney. The night was huge with a strong crowd of over 300 people packed the walls to see the epic new film. Click here to check out more.
Kieran Rielly, Jake Duncombe, Joe Pease, Jack Fardell and Shane Azar have been been In the states on a summer vacation.
They have decided to take a 10 day trip up to San Jose, Sacramento and San Francisco. They are accompanied by Andrew Mapstone who will be documenting them on film and Mikendo Stanfield with the video Camera.
